1. About PillMitra

PillMitra is a medication reminder service that operates via WhatsApp. It is provided by PillMitra Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("PillMitra", "we", "us"). By using PillMitra, you agree to these Terms.

2. Not Medical Advice

PillMitra is a reminder tool only. It is NOT a medical service and does NOT provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified doctor or pharmacist for medical decisions. Do not change or stop your medication based on PillMitra reminders alone.

3. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to use PillMitra independently. Parents or guardians may use PillMitra to manage medicines for minors in their care.

4. Service Description

PillMitra provides:

• Prescription image parsing using AI to extract medicine names and schedules.
• WhatsApp reminders at times derived from your prescription.
• Adherence tracking (optional, user-initiated).
• Multi-language support for reminders.

The accuracy of prescription parsing depends on image quality and handwriting legibility. Always verify extracted medicine names before confirming your schedule.

5. User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and legible prescription images.
• Verify that the medicines extracted by PillMitra match your actual prescription.
• Not use PillMitra in place of consulting a healthcare professional.
• Not share your PillMitra WhatsApp link or credentials with others.
• Report any inaccuracies to us promptly.

6. Limitation of Liability

PillMitra is provided "as is". We are not liable for:

• Missed reminders due to WhatsApp outages, network issues, or phone settings.
• Incorrect medicine parsing from unclear prescription images.
• Any health outcome resulting from reliance on PillMitra reminders.
• Loss of data due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed ₹500 (INR five hundred).

7. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and software of PillMitra is owned by PillMitra Technologies Pvt. Ltd. You may not copy, reproduce, or reverse-engineer any part of our service.

8. Termination

You may stop using PillMitra at any time by sending "STOP" to our WhatsApp number. We will delete your data within 30 days of your request.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you misuse the service, attempt to reverse-engineer it, or violate these Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. We'll notify active users via WhatsApp at least 7 days before material changes take effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
